Job Summary:

  • We are seeking an experienced Procurement Data Analyst to develop, design, and create tools and processes that provide key analytics to drive procurement strategic initiatives and decisions for the Sourcing & Vendor Management team. This position is responsible for using multiple systems to create efficiencies within process improvement, forecasting and automation. The Procurement Data Analyst will partner with cross-functional stakeholders including leadership to ensure best practices, identify process improvements opportunities and deliver metrics.

Main Accountabilities:

  • Develop and maintain interactive procurement dashboards for stakeholders in visual dashboards (Power BI, MS SharePoint, SQL, etc.)
  • Drive execution and analytics initiative for the supply base including but not limited to forecast accuracy.
  • Utilize software systems (Workday, Power BI, etc.) to manage procurement processes
  • Source-to-Pay (S2P) Process Monitoring
  • Propose changes to improve procurement processes and policies
  • Ensure best practices and optimize the usability of data/reporting
  • Build strategies to leverage data to drive efficiency, savings, opportunities, and access gaps.
  • Prepare and presenting procurement reports to leadership/management
  • Optimize sourcing procedures to attain maximum efficiency.
  • Excellent problem-solving capability with creativity in providing solutions to new issues or in exploring alternatives
  • Understanding of procurement/operations concepts will be desired
  • Collaborate with various departments to understand their procurement needs and ensure alignment with the overall business strategy.
  • Manage the company’s supply portfolio ensuring transparency of spend.
  • Negotiating contracts with suppliers to obtain the best price and SLAs is desirable.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field; Relevant certification (e.g., CPSM, CSCP) preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sourcing and procurement data analytics with a proven track record
  • Accountable for system capability awareness, and ensuring any new systems deliver the analytics and reporting needs of procurement and testing outputs of such systems
  • Advanced software systems skills in Microsoft Excel and Power BI are preferred
  • Proven track record of automation in business processes
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage complex projects and multi-task effectively
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable strategies
  • Strong proficiency in procurement software and tools (i.e. Workday Procurement/Strategic Sourcing), with a solid understanding of e-procurement systems.
  • High degree of initiative and accuracy, attention to details
  • Excellent organizational skills including planning, standards of excellence, personal accountability, and managing self
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Commitment to ethical procurement standards and understanding of global supply chain risks.

Compensation:  

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $90,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $100,000/year in our highest geographic market.  Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
