WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH:

Join our team as a Security Automation Developer. Work closely with experienced security professionals and DevOps team to optimize and automate security operations. As a key contributor, your work will significantly improve our service quality, providing ample opportunities to grow and expand your skillset within a team of dedicated, passionate experts.

 

WHO YOU ARE:

You possess a strong technical background as a driven and enthusiastic professional with a passion for cybersecurity innovation. You'll leverage our Maestro platform to develop automation workflows, and gain expertise through hands-on security tasks. Enjoy a dynamic role where you'll balance operational security with development in collaboration with various teams. WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Implement automation scripts and playbooks processes using a SOAR platform.
  • Build data integrations between various systems using REST APIs.
  • Collect data and create reports to track key metrics.
  • Analyze existing security processes and key metrics to identify opportunities for automation.
  • Work with our security team to perform event correlation using information gathered from a variety of sources within the enterprise to gain situational awareness and determine the effectiveness of an observed attack.
  • Work with our security team to provide timely detection, identification, and alerting of possible attacks/intrusions, anomalous activities, and misuse activities and distinguish these incidents and events from benign activities.
  • Automate complex tasks and processes to increase efficiency and reduce manual labor while improving security outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with other departments and teams to understand their needs and challenges.
  • Participate in system design and ad-hoc development activities as necessary.
  • Create and maintain training materials and documentation related to automation processes.

 

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent and 1-3 years of experience in an information technology role or software development role.
  • Expert level Python experience.
  • Experience developing and consuming REST APIs using Python.
  • Experience working with SQL and no-SQL databases.
  • Basic understanding of data modeling approaches.
  • Experience with SOAR or other low-code automation tools preferred.
  • Cloud environment (AWS, GCP, Azure) experience including deploying and monitoring applications.
  • A keen interest in security and the need for the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information and information systems to be.
  • Ability to analyze systems and processes to identify potential areas for automation and optimization.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving
