Commercial HVAC Service Technician

This is a full-time, direct placement for Mid-Ohio Air Conditioning

Mid-Ohio Air Conditioning has been a market leader in the commercial and industrial heating, ventilating, and air-conditioning (HVAC) industry in Ohio for over 55 years. Position Summary:

Mid-Ohio Air Conditioning HVAC service technicians perform preventive maintenance, repairs, equipment start up, and periodically assist with equipment replacement or installation for our commercial and industrial customers in Central, Northeast, and Southeast Ohio. Their typical workday is 8 hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with a half-hour lunch break. Overtime opportunities are consistently available.

Requirements

Must Have Qualifications:

• 3-5+ years of commercial HVAC experience
• EPA 608 Certification, Type 1 & Type 2
• Valid, insurable drivers license
• Ability to pass background check

• Our service technicians receive company provided uniforms, a company vehicle which they take home, safety equipment, specialty tools, and personal tool replacement. Each technician receives a cell phone stipend and and a tablet with a data plan so they may access company resources, industry resources, and manufacturer resources. Service technicians use these devices to record their work via our Vision software Remote Field Service application.

Training:

• Mid-Ohio Air Conditioning technicians are offered a minimum of two weeks of formal training through multiple methods which include:
  • Manufacturers’ factory training
  • Continuing education through local vendors and in-house training
  • Online training
  • On the job training
