Responsibilities

Position Summary: The Senior Director will lead the IT function for IDEMIA’s Civilian Identity division. This newly created role will oversee a team of 22-25 employees, manage vendor relationships, and drive critical IT initiatives. Initially reporting to the CIO with a dotted line to the CFO of Civil Identity, this position will ultimately report directly to the CFO. The role is pivotal in the redesign and separation of the Civilian Identity IT landscape, focusing on strategic IT transformation and digital identity solutions. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead IT transformation within a key division of IDEMIA.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead IT operations for the Civil Identity division, emphasizing business applications, network infrastructure, and customer-facing technology.
• Manage a team of 22-25 employees, including helpdesk personnel and vendor partnerships for application maintenance.
• Oversee infrastructure, including two small data centers (Eden Prairie, MN and Brentwood, TN) with five total racks.
• Drive the technical redesign and reorganization of the Civilian Identity IT landscape, working closely with engineering and infrastructure counterparts.
• Ensure seamless operation of DMV-related applications and technologies, such as driver’s license issuance, road tests, auto tests, and digital IDs across 32 states, with plans for expansion.
• Manage business-critical applications, including SAP, Netsuite, ADP, Salesforce, JIRA/Confluence, ReqLogic, and Great Plains.
• Function as a strategic partner in discussions on product offerings (on-premises and cloud-based) and business splits.
• Ensure compliance with security and operational standards.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including the CFO, engineering teams, and external vendors.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in IT leadership, focusing on outsourcing, infrastructure, and applications.
• Background in solutions architecture with the ability to effectively engage with technical teams while maintaining a strategic perspective.
• Experience managing IT in regulated and customer-centric environments.
• Familiarity with managing business applications, such as SAP, Netsuite, ADP, Salesforce, JIRA/Confluence, and ReqLogic.
• Direct experience with network infrastructure and data centers.
• Strong vendor management skills and understanding of contract management in collaboration with HR and legal teams.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills; adept at managing cross-functional teams and adapting to evolving organizational needs.
• Clearable US Citizen.

Compensation and Location:

• Location: Remote with minimal travel (Eden Prairie, MN or Bedford, MA driving distance preferred)
