As the Senior Commercial Sustainability Business Manager, you'll be the key player in elevating the commercial sustainability agenda in Europe. Partner with Arla's Vice CEO and influence global directions for commercial sustainability.

How you will make an impact

Sustainability is a focal pilar of Arla’s corporate strategy and as our new Senior Commercial Sustainability Business Manager, you will play a central role in lifting the commercial sustainability agenda in Europe to a more strategic level by commercializing our opportunities and efforts together with our European commercial markets as well as our customers.

 

You will report to Head of Sustainability Development with a strong link to the commercial organisation where you will play a sustainability business partner role, leading the sustainability agenda in the commercial organisation. In this bridging role, you be involved in development of key commercial sustainability concepts and solutions, and you will secure commitment and deployment with your key stakeholders in the local markets across Europe and with our customers. 

 

Your responsibilities will include:

• Identify and leverage best practices in commercializing sustainability.
• Develop cross-market recommendations and drive key decisions across markets.
• Develop a digital platform for commercialising sustainability with our customers
• Consolidate input to ensure scale benefits and consistency.
• Support global customer pitches.
• Act as a link between the global team and local European markets.

 

How you will be a success

You are a passionate project manager or business developer, driven by result and ambition. Your strategic mindset and ability to demonstrate leadership and engage your stakeholders enable you get all relevant stakeholders onboard. 

 

Furthermore:

• You have several years’ of experience from a strategic position within project management, business development or within a commercial function in an international company.
• You are a team player with excellent stakeholder management capabilities and knows how to create followership across team members, stakeholders and senior leaders.
• You have exceptional organisational and prioritisation skills combined with solid commercial acumen and insights into market operation.
• You have a relevant degree at Master’s level, e.g. within business.
• You have an excellent command of PowerPoint and Excel.
• You are fluent in English.
