ROLE SUMMARY
The Senior Director Secondee, Comirnaty Strategy, Performance & Innovation serves helps drive brand strategy and analytics, and lead retail and customer innovation projects. This leader is accountable for translating brand insights and analytics, customer barriers, into customer solutions that increase vaccination rates, and entrench COMIRNATY's market leadership.
CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES
Brand Strategy & Performance (Brand + Portfolio)
- Translate market dynamics, competitive intel, and vaccination trends into clear strategic priorities across brand growth, channel strategy, and go‑to‑market innovation.
- Drive translation and consolidation of performance and financial analytics, to drive brand health, marketing effectiveness, channel performance, and special projects.
Pilot‑in‑Command for an integrated retail innovation and special projects
- Design and deliver a practical, scalable solution that drives appropriate patient, physician, and retailer actions and improves COVID awareness and vaccination rates
- Lead business case development and endorsement and oversee execution and solutions delivery.
- Co-create solutions with CCG, CMO, CEP, USMA and Brand team while aligning customer needs, consumer barriers, and COMIRNATY strategic priorities
- Drive cross‑functional execution plans and proactively resolve execution risks. Communicate progress, risks, and decisions with clarity, credibility, and accountability.
- Identify, assess, and engage third‑party partners in collaboration with CCG.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- BA/BS required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- 12+ years progressive U.S. pharmaceutical / healthcare commercial experience
- Senior leadership experience within Vaccines or adjacent U.S. Commercial categories
- Strategic planning and innovation
- Performance analytics and financial stewardship
- Deep understanding of U.S. healthcare ecosystem and vaccination channels, Retail pharmacy and non‑retail dynamics, and Partner‑based business models
- Demonstrated matrix leadership, executive communication skills, and comfort operating in ambiguity

- Vaccines portfolio experience
- Consulting or transformation leadership experience
- Strong external‑facing presence with customers, partners, and senior enterprise stakeholders
