Insurance Collector Part-Time (8534)

Job description

First Urology has an immediate opening for a Part-Time Insurance Collector. Candidate will be responsible for managing patient accounts, submitting claims, following up on outstanding balances, and resolving billing issues to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement for healthcare services.

Responsibilities:

• Patient Account Management:
  • Maintain accurate patient account records, including balances, payments, and adjustments.
  • Process payments and post adjustments to patient accounts.
• Collections:
  • Identify and follow up on delinquent accounts.
  • Implement and track collection strategies to recover outstanding balances.
  • Contact insurance companies to collect payments.
• Compliance and Accuracy:
  • Adhere to healthcare billing regulations and guidelines.
  • Ensure accurate and complete billing practices.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information.

Job Type: Part-Time, Dayshift Mon-Fri

Qualifications:

2 years' experience in insurance collections

Strong Communication Skills
