THE JOB:

The Assistant Butler at the Mansion at the MGM Grand is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service, including personal butler, valet, and amenity services. You'll be helping serve meals, offering personal care services, keeping the workspace spotless, and staying one step ahead of guest needs to ensure a seamless experience

THE STARTING RATE: $16.00/hr Plus Tips

THE DAY-TO-DAY: 

• Assist Butlers in delivering timely and complete services to the guests, including serving meals, snacks, tea, hors d’ oeuvres, cocktails and other food and beverage items as well as cleaning up after meals

• Assist with personal services, such as haircutting and styling, manicure, massage, etc.

• Remain immediately available during assigned shift to respond to guests’ needs

• Prepare and deliver orders to assigned Butler, and maintain a clean working area in the kitchen

• Maintain Butler’s pantry and all other assigned areas in a neat and serviceable condition

• Detect flaws relating to service standards and make corrections prior to service delivery

• Assist Butlers in anticipating guest’s needs regarding butler services and is supportive and proactive in lending team support

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Three (3)+ years of experience as a food server, busser, or runner in a Fine Dining setting in a resort or casino

• Experience in luxury resorts or private estates and fine dining

• Experience handling authentic Fine China and other fragile silverware

• Household Management training, Full-Service Restaurant Server training and Bartending training

• Must have or be able to obtain Food Handlers Card and TAM Card before start date

• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays

• Bilingual, preferably in Asian languages
