Job Description

Eurofins CEI is looking for a TEM analyst to join our team in Fort Mill, South Carolina. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following aspects of the job: sample preparation, sample log in, sample analysis, maintains equipment and work areas as assigned.

TEM Analyst responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Performs TEM sample  log in
•  Prepare samples in various matrices (air, dust, bulk, water etc.) for asbestos analysis     
• Analyze air & bulk samples for asbestos by TEM
• Maintains equipment and work areas
• Participation in all Quality Assurance/ Quality Control activities
• Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner

Qualifications

The ideal candidate would possess:

• Good interpersonal skills
• Responsible, reliable and good team player; like routine work.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and evolving environment
• Must have good communication, computer, typing, and organizational skills
• Good attention to detail

Basic Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Environmental Sciences, or related science
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
