Summary:
CNSI is seeking a creative, detail-oriented Outreach Specialist with healthcare experience and strong communications skills. The individual will provide support to the Workers’ Compensation Medical Bill Processing (WCMBP) staff, providers, and Office of Workers' Compensation Programs (OWCP) claimants by assessing required outreach response and providing customized information, training information, and other materials to address relevant issues. The successful candidate for this role must be able to interact positively and effectively with others including the ability to work well in a team environment.

Job Responsibilities:
- Communicate directly with Providers and OWCP Claimants
- Train and troubleshoot through Workers’ Compensation medical bill processing issues directly with medical providers (doctors, hospitals, and healthcare facilities)
- Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure identified issues are addressed and resolved
- Provide strategic input to identify potential outreach initiatives, including analysis of data extracts
- Review and work with procedure codes, HIPAA reviews, billing and claims issues
- Provide on-site event support and initiate follow-ups after workshops
- Assess the stakeholders needs for education and communicate this with management and the customer
Qualifications
Required Experience/Skills:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Marketing or Communications OR in lieu of education, equivalent work experience in addition to:
- 5+ years general experience in communications or bill processing in the field of health care
- 3+ years of that experience conducting outreach by communicating with medical providers to identify and assess the need for provider education related to medical bill processing programs/policies or similar environment (may overlap with other experience)
- 3+ years of experience in roles that involved working directly with clients to understand the client's training and content requirements
Preferred Experience/Skills:
- Demonstrated excellence in verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to work on multiple projects at the same time
- Ability to adjust quickly and smoothly to shifting needs and priorities
- Must be able to work independently
- Must be able to interact positively and effectively with others including the ability to work well in a team environment
- Must be thorough and timely in completing all assigned tasks
- Demonstrate expertise with Microsoft products
- Ability to obtain and maintain NACI clearance
- PL/SQL knowledge
- Medical Bill Pricing experience
