About the Role

The Role As the VP, Group Account Director for Web Ecosystems, you will act as the executive lead for one of our most strategically important and fastest-evolving client relationships. This role sits at the intersection of enterprise partnership, commercial growth, operational leadership, and creative production excellence.

You will be the single-threaded owner and strategic "brain trust" leader responsible for transforming the partnership from a vendor relationship into a co-creation engine. You are a high-level operator who can set a visionary agenda while remaining nimble enough to roll up your sleeves and mentor a multi-disciplinary team of makers. Your mission is to design in partnership with team leadership a "Next-Gen Marketing OS" that defines the future of digital connection.

Responsibilities:

  • Executive Partnership & Strategic Growth: Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, shifting engagements toward high-value, strategic initiatives. You will identify opportunities to partner with new business units ensuring Monks is a clear leader in AI-driven web experiences.
  • Operational Rigor & AI Innovation: Partner with technical leadership to implement smarter, AI-enabled workflows. You will oversee the creation of data-driven optimization loops that increase velocity, protect profitability, and harness the Monks.Flow AI suite to redefine how brands market to both humans and agents.
  • Creative Excellence & Craft: In partnership with the Group Creative Director, you will enforce a high internal bar for craft. You are responsible for ensuring every delivery is portfolio-worthy and rooted in sharp, data-driven insights that contribute to our broader thought leadership program.
  • Global Leadership & Culture: Build and lead a prestigious, high-retention "Center of Excellence." With the goal to establish a "Follow-the-Sun" model, integrating US-based Core Leads with global engineering pods to provide seamless, 24-hour support for our client’s global ecosystem.
  • Fiscal: Design and evolve workflows that scale across regions and capabilities. You will manage the fiscal health of the vertical, ensuring the team remains agile and effective as the scope of work evolves.

About You

The essentials:

  • The Experience: 12+ years of marketing leadership with a proven track record of managing and growing multi-million dollar global accounts. Direct experience with Mag 7 clients is highly preferred.
  • Digital-First Mindset: You have deep experience in multi-channel, digital-first client campaigns and a passion for how emerging technology changes user behavior.
  • Leadership: You possess leadership skills that inspire others to want to work for you. You are comfortable managing direct reports and fostering an environment where a diversity of perspectives can thrive.
  • Operations: You are operationally minded and excel at designing systems that can withstand the pressure of accelerating delivery timelines without sacrificing quality.
