Director of Engineering - Austin, Texas

We are committed to delivering the highest quality products and services to our customers, and we are seeking an Engineering Director to lead our engineering team globally, mainly in India, this position will be based in Austin, Texas.

Responsibilities:

This Engineering Director will be responsible for managing the engineering team and overseeing the development of our gaming technology and services, This position will work closely with other departments to ensure that our products and services meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

• Lead and manage the engineering team, providing guidance and support to ensure the team is delivering high-quality work on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure that our products and services meet customer requirements and exceed expectations.
• Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration within the engineering team, encouraging team members to share ideas and best practices.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and partners.
• Ensure that the engineering team is up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
• Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, and timelines, ensuring that projects are on track and within budget.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experienced managing multiple teams developing AA /AAA games is required.
• Strong command on Unreal and Unity is a must.
• Must have Experience leading teams to ship several titles.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to find solutions to complex problems.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality products and services on time and within budget.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working in the gaming industry is highly desirable.
• Strong technical skills and a deep understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
• At least 10 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
