<p><strong>Janitorial Supervisor</strong></p><p></p><p><strong>*This position has a June 1st start*</strong></p><p><strong>*This job is located at Bessemer Elementary School*</strong></p><p><strong>*The supervisor position is from 1PM - 9PM*</strong></p><p></p><p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p><p>The Janitorial Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring that the building and facilities are clean, maintained, and presentable at all times. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and customer service, as well as, managing and motivating a team of cleaners to be quality driven. </p><p><strong>Job Duties:</strong></p><p><strong>Supervision of Cleaning Staff </strong>by managing the cleaning team, assigning tasks, and ensuring they are performing their job duties by managing cleaners in these areas:</p><ul><li>Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of lobbies, waiting areas, hallways, and other common areas.</li><li>Continuously monitor, service, and sanitize restrooms, ensuring they are fully stocked with supplies (paper towels, soap, etc.).</li><li>Proactively disinfect high-touch surfaces such as door handles, light switches, countertops, and elevator buttons.</li><li>Respond promptly and professionally to any spills or immediate cleaning requests.</li><li>Empty trash and recycling receptacles throughout the day.</li><li>Interact in a friendly and professional manner with clinic staff, patients, and visitors.</li><li>Maintain a neat and organized janitorial closet and manage supply inventory.</li><li>Adhere to all safety and health regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals.</li><li>Any other duties as mandated by the scope of the contract.</li><li>Communicate effectively any irregularities, equipment or building damage,</li><li>Follow security protocols as dictated by the contract.</li><li>Wear company issued shirts.</li><li>Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor.</li></ul><p><strong>Monitoring the Performance of Staff </strong>and providing guidance as needed.</p><p><strong>Training and Development </strong>of new employees on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and the proper use of chemicals and equipment.</p><p><strong>Management of Inventory</strong> by ensuring that the cleaning team has the necessary supplies and equipment to perform their duties effectively.</p>
