Position Summary:
This is a senior level Program Management position responsible for the oversight of onboarding and management of new and existing Program relationships across Travel, A&H and AWLS. This position will be responsible for leading the client support, engagement and growth initiatives as well as ensuring proper controls are followed and alignment is in place between the client and relevant functional areas to include Legal, Operations, Reporting, Claims, Premium Admin, Product Development, Underwriting and Compliance. This role will also provide strategic direction and execution oversight in the development of profitable scale within new and existing markets both organically and through acquisition.
Responsibilities
- Support new sales efforts.
- Support growth initiatives within existing Program partnerships.
- Support large projects and other key initiatives across the Consumer division.
- Develop policies and procedures for new Program onboarding.
- Ensure controls are in place and followed for new and existing Programs.
- Ensure existing Program partners are operating compliantly and under the appropriate contract terms.
- Engage with all functional areas who support Program onboarding and retention to ensure there is cross functional alignment on deal terms.
- Will directly oversee program management team.
Experience & Required Skills
- 15+ years knowledge of Travel Insurance and A&H products (Business Travel, AD&D, Supplemental Health, Occupational Accident, Student Accident, Entertainment, Study Abroad, Youth Sports, Non-Profit). Knowledge of Warranty and Lenders market is a plus.
- 15+ years of senior leadership responsibilities spanning program development, program management, underwriting and/or risk placement experience.
- Entrepreneurial personality who is results-oriented with sound decision making ability.
- Extensive knowledge of business, distribution channels, producers, and competitors.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, polished verbal, written, and presentation skills are a must.
- Strong leadership and negotiating skills internal and external.
- Demonstrated strategic planning and organizational leadership capabilities.
- Exceptional relationship management and influencing skills; able to work successfully across multiple stakeholders and multiple functional areas to influence outcomes and drive results.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
For individuals assigned or hired to work in the location(s) indicated below, the base salary range is provided. Range is as of the time of posting. Position is incentive eligible.
$265,000 - $295,000/year
Total individual compensation (base salary, short & long-term incentives) offered will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to geographic location, scope & responsibilities of the role, qualifications, talent availability & specialization as well as business needs. The above pay range may be modified in the future.
