Position Description & RequirementsPosition SummarY:
The Director of Identity and Access Management (IAM) is a hands-on leadership role responsible for the strategic direction, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's IAM program within the healthcare environment. This position oversees a team of IAM specialists and collaborates cross-functionally to ensure secure and efficient access to systems and data while maintaining compliance with industry regulations.

Position Duties and Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Partners with the IAM architect to define current/future state and develop a roadmap aligning with industry best practices and automation.
- Project & Vendor Management: Leads IAM solution evaluations, RFP processes, vendor selection, and ensures successful integration into the RP ecosystem.
- Solution Delivery: Oversees IAM design, deployment, and lifecycle using project, product, and agile management practices.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Works with IT, security, and business units to understand needs and ensure cohesive IAM strategies.
- Compliance & Risk Mitigation: Ensures adherence to HIPAA and other regulations; proactively identifies and addresses IAM security risks.
- Policy & Process Leadership: Defines and implements IAM standards, policies, and processes based on best practices for secure access.
- Performance & Reporting: Tracks and reports on IAM metrics, service delivery, and improvement initiatives to enhance effic
