What You Will Do:

Conduct chemical analysis on powder and solid materials to ensure material meets customer requirements.

Typical Duties Essential Functions with limited training/supervision guidance:

• Perform equipment set up and sample preparation
• Troubleshoot all issues associated with sample prep, establish training
• plans and verify training effectiveness
• Plans and verifies training effectiveness
• Perform analysis on a wide variety of materials where methods and
• techniques have been established, and assist in establishing methods or
• techniques when required
• Accept or reject material based on specifications
• Organize, report, and maintain records of analysis
• Enter test results into various databases
• Audit quality records to ensure adherence to quality system requirements
• Provides guidance, coaching and training to employees in the job area,
• with demonstrated ability to escalate those items that are outside of
• experience
• Proven ability to adhere to work requirements and can pivot team in
• direction of business need.
• Perform Continuous Improvement initiatives
• May be required to carry out tasks not specifically listed, within the scope
• and skill level of this position in support of department objectives and to
• develop one’s skills
• Adhere to CORE guidelines and perform CORE duties as required
• Adhere to all EH & S guidelines, including wearing of required personal
• protective equipment

Qualifications You Must Have:

• High School diploma or GED equivalent with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.

• Mechanical aptitude preferred
• The position requires ascending, descending stairs, standing for extended periods, bending, squatting, twisting, overhead reach, and lifting up to 25 pounds.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.

The pay range is $22.00 - $25.00 per hour; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
