YOUR IMPACT

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Documentation Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional, user-centric product documentation. In this role, you will design and deliver a forward-looking strategy, streamline documentation processes, and lead a team of technical writers to produce content that meets both user needs and business objectives.

• Establish a comprehensive documentation strategy that aligns with product roadmaps, including scalable content architectures and clear style guides.

• Design and implement a streamlined documentation intake, review, and management workflow to support product release cycles.

• Implement performance metrics and key indicators to track documentation quality and success.

• Maintain high standards for clarity, consistency, and technical accuracy in all documentation.

• Identify high-priority areas for improvement in existing documentation, devising and executing actionable improvement plans.

• Redesign and implement an improved framework for organizing user-facing documentation to enhance usability and logical flow.

• Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to ensure documentation priorities align with overall company goals.

• Leverage product and user insights to craft a cohesive, user-centric content strategy.

• Provide regular updates to leadership and cross-functional partners on documentation progress and initiatives.

• Oversee team responsibilities for multiple concurrent projects, aligning them with the company’s broader strategic goals.

• Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture, mentor and support team members, and provide opportunities for professional development and growth.

• Research, evaluate, and adopt cutting-edge tools and platforms to streamline the documentation process.

• Stay informed about industry trends and integrate best practices into documentation processes.

YOUR EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technical Communication, or a related field.

• 8+ years of experience in technical writing or similar roles.

• 3+ years of experience managing teams of technical writers.

• Demonstrated success in overhauling product documentation sites and content for enterprise-grade systems with measurable impact.

• Extensive experience authoring highly detailed technical documentation for enterprise-grade software and B2B infrastructure solutions.

• Proficiency with documentation tools such as MadCap Flare, Confluence, etc.

• Strong understanding of Agile workflows and experience engaging with development teams to create technical documentation.

• Exceptional communication and project management skills, with a track record of delivering high-quality work independently and with remote teams.

• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices for technical documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a relevant field or additional certifications.

• Familiarity with the specific challenges of documenting WLA and MFT products, including integrations, configuration, and troubleshooting.
