Position Overview

The Director, Production is responsible for leading and managing a fast-paced production printing and mailing facility. Responsibilities include production operations, client and vendor relations and all facility related functions. This role is expected to promote a culture of excellence and drive operational success in alignment with Zelis initiatives.

What You'll Do:

• Champion the Zelis IMPACT values (Drive INNOVATION, Growth MINDSET, PEOPLE First, Act w/AGILITY, COLLABORATION, Build TRUST)

• Strong focus and active contributions to the Zelis culture which includes developing and sustaining a 5S/Lean production facility

• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and training programs to optimize efficiency, reduce errors, and enhance overall production quality.

• Foster collaboration across departments with a focus on streamlining communication to address challenges, processes and client expectations.

• Oversee all AZ production activities while working closely with the STL facility to ensure all SLA and Quality metrics are achieved

• Establish and monitor performance metrics related to production output, quality, and efficiency.

• Manage cost-control measures across capital expenditures, operating costs and staffing

• Active contributor to strategic recommendations to maintain a “best in class” operation.

• Provide strong leadership, mentorship, and development for the production supervisors and associates

• Ensure adherence to HIPAA, compliance, security policies, and all company procedures, work instructions, and environmental guidelines.

What You'll Bring to Zelis:

• Five plus years leading a fast-paced production facility

• Bachelor's degree helpful

• Experience leading and developing teams

• Proficient in standard Microsoft products, inventory management systems and business applications

• Ability to work extended hours and maintain a flexible schedule as needed. 

• Experienced working with a diverse workforce

• Preferred but not required bilingual in English and Spanish

Location and Workplace Flexibility

We have offices in Atlanta GA, Boston MA, Morristown NJ, Plano TX, St. Louis MO, St. Petersburg FL, and Hyderabad, India.
