As a Business Architect Sr. within PNC's Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA or Strongsville, OH. The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager’s discretion.

• The business architect plays a critical role in aligning strategic objectives with business operations by designing, maintaining, and improving the organization's business capabilities, processes, information, and technology models.
• This role acts as a bridge between enterprise strategy and execution, ensuring that business and IT investments deliver value and are aligned to long-term goals.
• Translates business strategy into actionable architectures, ensuring that projects and initiatives are aligned with strategic goals.

Job Description

• Provides guidance and advice on business architecture designs in complex projects, resolves difficult problems and ensures that all deliverables meet high standards in quality.
• Designs business architecture procedures, such as the target operating model and roadmap, while considering business strategies and goals.
• Consults on best practices for junior staff in business architecture planning, processes, data modeling and business architecture tools (e.g. UML and BPMN.)
• Provides a systematic analysis on client requirements within the traceability framework and resolves any functional problems encountered.
• Oversees the quality of business architecture project deliverables while ensuring that they are in compliance with relevant standards and processes.
