We offer a hybrid 3-2 work schedule (three days in the office, two days of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility.

Job Summary

In this developmental level role, the Associate DEV Business Intelligence Analyst is introduced to providing Image-based data analysis, modeling and data science products. Develops the ability to act as a liaison between several DEV business units supporting data driven, ad hoc responses based on analytics, modeling, and statistical data. Gains skills related to Business Performance, Finance, Systems, Operations, and Engineering solutions. Learns entry level aspects of data governance, cataloging, data acquisition, data quality, data analysis, data interpretation, and interactive data visualizations. This includes support of business metadata, business rules, and influence remediation of data quality defects. Ability to work as part of a cross-functional team to analyze business requirements, assist with the development of model strategies or solutions. Help define enterprise data and technology needs to support business intelligence and analytics. Gains skill working with multiple data platforms and develops analytic solutions using multiple technologies and programming languages.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

A minimum of 0-2 years directly related experience in computerized remote sensing data analysis and processing in DEV. Associate level experience in imagery data processing, programming, querying, data structures, statistics, data visualization and communication. Entry level experience in adapting to and applying rapidly changing technology to business needs. Basic knowledge in utilizing ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, and Python. Ability to learn problem solving and is a logical and analytical thinker. Possess the ability to research and understand customer processes and issues. Ability to work with people from all levels of the organization to influence and impact others with decisions that may have significant budgetary impact. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Ability to handle deadlines and pressure with concern for quality. Strong conceptual thinking and reasoning abilities. Demonstrated competency in verbal, written and presentation communication. Demonstrated self-starter with self-control and flexibility. 
 
 
Preferred experience in: Metadata Analytics, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, Global Mapper, Pix4D, Atomic Lens, SharePoint, Data Catalog (Spatio Temporal, Asset Catalog), Python. 

0–2+ years of relevant experience and basic knowledge typically developed through a combination of job-related training and directly related work experience. (Dependent on years of experience). Demonstrates basic knowledge of design and operation of systems, equipment and operations. Possesses basic knowledge of industry codes, government regulations, company policies and practices. Possess some knowledge of business/financial and contractual matters. Possesses some knowledge and understanding of data driven performance technologies and tools, process, metrics and analytics to provide technical guidance and mentoring, to stations regarding Maintenance and Operational Management Processes, Standards, and Systems. Ability and acumen to solve problems. Possess organizational skills to maintain and prepare documentation, records, schematics, policies/procedures, and identifying/monitoring reoccurring issues and trends to develop recommendations. Possesses excellent communications skills, skilled in communicating recommendations and issues to a variety of audiences. May prepare and present technical documentation and resources for maintenance/operational reference. May prepare technical reports or operational procedures to document equipment modifications, procedures or practices. May be required to travel to plant sites on occasion, to evaluate or provide oversight.
