Job Description:
University Cancer & Blood Center is hiring a full time Patient Financial Navigator. This position is 40 hours a week, Monday- Friday.
Job Duties:
- Work with various drug assistance/reimbursement programs and patient assistance programs to get patient assistance needed.
- Meet with patients regarding balances, payment plans, financial resources
- Process monthly statements. Respond to patient inquiries regarding statement balances
- Collecting on money owed by patients
- Processing monthly refunds
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Previous medical office experience
- Previous billing experience preferred
- Desire and ability to work with patients. Must be able to have difficult discussions with patients regarding their medical bills
- Ability to work as an individual and as a team
