A Global Data Center Engineer manages, maintains, and supports the physical and IT infrastructure of Yahoo's global Corporate offices and global EdgePoPs to ensure reliability and efficiency. Their responsibilities include installing, configuring, and troubleshooting hardware, monitoring power and cooling systems, planning for disaster recovery, and ensuring network connectivity and security. They perform both IT-focused tasks like server and network management and facility-focused tasks like maintaining power and cooling systems to keep data centers operating 24/7

The compensation for this position ranges from $96,000.00 - $200,000.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience.The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions.
