Driver Dispatcher / Lead (2nd shift) - Morse Road Location

The Transportation Driver Dispatcher plays a critical role in assisting operations, ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods while maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory standards. This position requires leadership skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to effectively assist in coordinating with operations and safety while fostering strong communication with drivers, customers, and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and guidance to city drivers, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and operational procedures.
• Dispatch local drivers daily 
• Promote a “Safety Focused” culture across operations, safety, and maintenance teams.
• Assist in driver training on safety-related topics, including accident prevention, defensive driving, and compliance with DOT regulations.
• Ensure accurate and timely incident reporting following any accidents or equipment damage.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections to verify equipment safety and maintenance standards.
• Provide training on on-board electronics and ELD systems (Samsara) to ensure proper usage and compliance.
