Position Summary...

What you'll do...

• Uses HMI to properly set up equipment with the correct gauge plastic for the product being run
• Loads materials into machines for processing
• Troubleshoots any issues that arise during operation
• Monitors machinery output to ensure that it meets predetermined product quality standards
• Corrects any identified issues Identifies and sets proper suction setting within HMI for production runs while visually checking bag seals for leaks and proper bag inflation
• Cleans, maintains, and performs minor repairs of Pacifica machines
• Reports any major machine malfunctions to the relevant management team member in the area
• Adheres to all company safety procedures and guidelines
• Uses personal protective equipment
• Operates machinery and equipment safely
• Reports any hazards near misses, injuries, or accidents immediately
• Actively participates in safety trainings and drills
• Maintains cleanliness in work areas to prevent accidents
• Contributes to the continuous improvement of all safety protocols
• Demonstrates awareness of surroundings to ensure own safety and the safety of others
• Successfully accomplishes work assignments and prioritizes tasks by utilizing policies and available resources
• Collaborates effectively with managers, coworkers, and business partners identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations
• Carries out assigned tasks communicating progress and relevant information
• Actively identifies and suggests ways to address improvement opportunities
• Demonstrates adaptability and a willingness to learn from change difficulties and feedback
