Work as a liaison among stakeholders in order to elicit, analyse, communicate and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies and information systems. Understand business problems and opportunities in the context of the requirements and recommend solutions that enable the business to achieve its goals while supporting compliance with related legislation, policies and standards.

About the role

• Prepare ongoing reviews and evaluation of business processes, and develop optimisation strategies.

• Plan and manage the Business Analysis approach to any project or BAU initiative.

• Elicit, analyse, document, communicate, and manage the business requirements.

• Provide subject matter expert guidance to assist in pilot and implementation planning, change management and test planning and training materials production.

• Design and implement strategies for gathering, reviewing and analysing data requirements.

• Translate complex business, strategic and technical information concisely for diverse audiences.

• Understand, document and communicate the objectives, drivers and business value proposition of a change.

• Prioritise initiatives based on business needs and requirements.

• Provide Business Analysis support of seed funding initiatives and Business Analysis input toward the formation of Business Cases.

• Perform solution evaluation during procurement, Proof of Concept, pilot and post implementation phases to ensure appropriate quality and fitness for purpose.

• Create representative and conceptual models, prototypes, mock-ups and business and technical specifications.

• Ensure that all requirements are clearly captured and understood through effective communication, coordination and documentation.

• Demonstrate a high degree of attention to detail and self-motivation/autonomy.

About you

• Experience in Telephony domain, preferably as a business analyst.

• Can design well-structured presentation material suited to a range of audiences and can provide feedback to others on their presentations.

• Makes recommendations and sets standards for appropriate choices between Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint for documentation purposes, guiding others on appropriate standards to achieve discoverability and Accessibility of content suited to the purpose of the documentation.

• Demonstrates sufficiently advanced knowledge/proficiency with business process modelling, traceability and quality management techniques to advise others on appropriate selection of tools, techniques and technologies.

• Serves as a project/initiative knowledge steward and requirements expert, communicating business and technical concepts between the business and technical stakeholders

• Tailors communication to the reader and to the context to positively influence policies, reforms and directions.

• Extensive experience of Requirements Management and can lead the design and fulfilment of all aspects of Requirements Management.

• Demonstrated experience in solution evaluation and can design and lead solution analysis initiatives, document findings and make recommendations.

• Demonstrated experience in workflow concepts and can lead the analysis, documentation, design, monitoring, measurement and improvement of workflows.

• Demonstrated experience of modelling notation standards such as BPMN and can independently select, utilise and communicate such documentation, determining whether formal notation or a simpler business-friendly style is required case by case.

• Extensive experience of Business Process Management (or equivalent). Additionally, has experience in analysis of business processes and making improvement recommendations in line with strategic objectives of the organisation/domain.

• Extensive experience within project methodologies such as waterfall, PMBOK, Prince2 and agile-type methodologies. Additionally, has experience in monitoring, measuring and improvement of BA methodologies, activities and deliverables.
