The Manager, Home Health Licensure & Regulatory Compliance leads the department responsible for CenterWell Home Health Licensure and Credentialing requirements. The Manager works within specific guidelines and procedures; applies advanced technical knowledge to solve moderately complex problems; receives assignments in the form of objectives and determines approach, resources, schedules and goals.

The Manager, Home Health Credentialing is responsible for:

  • Ensuring the timely filing, renewal and management of governmental and non-governmental enrollments related to CMS, Federal and State mandated Licensure, maintaining a knowledge of Licensure requirements, staff and company education, training, related to licensure, accreditation, certifications, and professional competence.

  • The Manager reviews the information and documentation collected, as well as verification that the information is accurate and complete necessary to maintain accurate filings and accreditations.

  • Decisions are typically related to resources, approach, and tactical operations for projects and initiatives involving own departmental area, location expansion, and other clinical licensures.

  • Requires cross departmental collaboration and conducts briefings and area meetings; maintains frequent contact with other managers across the department.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Proficient understanding of CMS Enrollment Application (CMS-855)

  • Proven leadership skills and significant experience directly managing a group of seasoned professionals

  • Demonstrated success working in collaboration with multiple departments and disciplines

  • Strong computer skills including MS Office desktop applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project)

  • Demonstrated competency in both oral and written communication skills

  • Solid understanding of process / workflow concepts

  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills

  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Business, Finance or related fields

  • Project Management Certification

  • Experience in workflow and organizational transformation

  • Proficient understanding of State Medicaid enrollment

Additional Information:

To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria:

  • Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership.

  • Employees who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.

  • Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.
