Quince is a retail and technology company co-founded by a team that has extensive experience in retail, technology and building early stage companies. You’ll work with a team of world-class talent from Stanford GSB, Google, D.E. Shaw, Stitch Fix, Urban Outfitters, Wayfair, McKinsey, Nike etc.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter and problem-solver, skilled at leveraging technology and data to deliver top-tier analytics solutions. They thrive on addressing complex business challenges and are consistently effective in making high-judgment decisions at a rapid pace, even in the face of ambiguity and uncharted scenarios. Additionally, the ideal candidate is energized by a work environment where strategy, innovation, and decision-making are intentionally distributed, where transparency, agility, and data-driven insights are highly valued, and where colleagues at all levels hold each other to exceptionally high standards to serve Quince customers

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Data Collection and Management: Gathering financial data from various sources (e.g., accounting systems, databases, market research), ensuring data accuracy and integrity, and maintaining organized datasets.  
• Financial Analysis: Conducting in-depth analyses of financial data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business decisions. This might involve variance analysis, profitability analysis, forecasting, and performance evaluation.  
• Reporting and Visualization: Creating clear and concise reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings to finance stakeholders (e.g., management, executives). This often involves using data visualization tools to present complex information effectively.  
• Financial Modeling: Developing and maintaining financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning. This requires a strong understanding of financial principles.  
• Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities to streamline financial processes, automate tasks, and improve data quality.
• Collaboration: Working closely with finance stakeholders to understand their needs, provide data-driven insights, and support their decision-making processes.  

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in math, science, engineering, or related field.
• 4-7 years of experience in data analytics, preferably in an ecommerce setting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong expertise in SQL and BI tools fÅor analyzing large datasets, with experience in developing and maintaining dashboards to track business metrics.
• Experience with Agile methodologies preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, mathematics, statistics, or a related field is typically required.
