Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Cyber Security Specialist to join our team in the Annapolis Junction, MD.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Cyber Security expertise in the maintenance and operation of an IT security infrastructure and cyber security system to include:

• Building digital security protocols
• Ensure proper software and hardware are in place
• Support IT projects from a security standpoint to ensure the safety of valuable information to include troubleshooting and planning computer and network upgrades
• Automate security measure and identify security improvements
• Perform technical solutions to any identified security vulnerabilities and responding to security incidents.
• Develop security assessments and threat models

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
• 5 years of position-relevant work experience.
• DoD 8570.01-m IAT Level III or IASAE Level III.
• Security Information Event Management (SEIM) familiarity

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working within a Scrum team or agile environment.
• Experience with Graylog and/or Malcolm

Security Clearance Requirements:

• TS/SCI

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time
• Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel
• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer

Travel Requirements:

• Some travel may be required. Less than 15%.
