Role Summary

 

The Sales Planning Intern will support the team responsible for creating actionable sales strategies and forecasts that align with overall business goals. This role involves analyzing market trends, managing resource allocation, and preparing performance reports to help maximize revenue and market share. The intern will gain exposure to the full sales cycle and learn how data-driven decisions impact business performance.

Possible Tasks within this Role

• Assist in creating and updating sales reports, performance presentations, and KPI dashboards.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis on pricing, sales, and incentive programs.
• Support the sales forecasting process by gathering and analyzing data on market trends and consumer behavior.
• Help prepare materials for strategic planning meetings and sales program reviews.

 

 

Qualification requirements

Qualifications

 

• A rising college Junior, Senior or recent graduate
• Strong GPA
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail.
• Strong preference for Business Administration or Management, Data Analytics or Business Analytics or related majors.

 

Skills

 

• Microsoft skills, analytical and logical thinking and problem solving.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Ability to effectively communicate findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders
• Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software is an asset.
