We are currently seeking a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Georgia Diagnostic and Classification Prison in Jackson, GA.

Shift Details

• Schedule: Nights, 36 hours per week | Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM |Weekends: Rotating

Compensation

• Pay range: $17.00–$22.00 per hour

• Additional $1.50/hour night shift differential

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct patient care to incarcerated individuals under the supervision of nursing, medical, and psychiatric staff. This role supports patients with personal hygiene, activities of daily living, and basic clinical tasks such as monitoring and reporting vital signs.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification

• One (1) year of experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, residential care, physician practice, or a correctional setting preferred

• Current Purified Protein Derivative (PPD) documentation for tuberculosis screening, or ability to obtain

• Active certification in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) use

• Ability to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance as required
