This remote role is not tightly linked to a physical location and provides flexibility in where, when and how you accomplish your work. Remote employees are expected to have a dedicated, quiet and distraction-free work space and an internet connection that’s sufficient for completing their job remotely.

Job Summary

The Generalist Human Resources serves as a champion of change who leads through influence with employees and managers in ways that best drives the execution of our company strategies and goals. This role works collaboratively to support assigned client groups to ensure we are leveraging our people processes and relationships to drive better business results. This includes fair and consistent application of people policies and programs including performance management, talent acquisition (hourly and salaried), total rewards, employee/labor relations, workforce planning, and employee data records and analytics. This role will have dual responsibilities focused on HR Generalist support for our business functions including but not limited to:  Digital, Finance, Legal, and Communications. In addition, this role will be responsible for maintaining workforce records, standard reporting, and process/system administration of our HRIS systems. Applicants will need to have an interest in both transactional and business partnering HR work with strong attention to detail. This role is categorized as remote.

Job Responsibilities

•    Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs. 
•    Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data. Prepares ad hoc department reports for management, detailing employee information/HR data, as needed.
•    Responsible for drafting, updating, and maintaining HR forms, letters, and intake forms. Work closely with HR Service Center to complete various transactional requests timely and accurately. 
•    Collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for job openings. Ensure consistent application of guidelines on employment-related processes such as salaried recruitment. 
•    Working with Compensation and Benefits, conducts job and compensation analysis, and makes recommendations to stakeholders on job offers, promotions etc. Assures consistent application for guidelines on employee- related processes, such as requisitions and job postings. 
•    Plans and conducts new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward company goals.
•    Answers frequently asked questions from employees and managers relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; follow-up and follow-through on quesitons as needed. 
•    Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation, and conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations.
•    Coach/consult with management and employees on employee relations issues in a changing and ambiguous environment. Ensure consistent, equal, and fair treatment of all employees.  
•    Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
•    Participate in investigation procedures and collects data to support employee complaints and other employment-related issues. 
•    Acquires approvals and processes for immigration paperwork with highest accuracy. Consults employees and managers on immigration process and case updates. 
•    Performs other projects and duties as assigned by the HRBP and Sr HR Leadership. 
 

Education Requirements

Bachelor's Degree Preferred
