DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Optimize algorithms for pricing and risk analytics by exploiting vectorization and parallelization. Develop a software library that prices derivatives and calculates risks. Select and tune compilers to obtain optimal performance on current architectures for risk and pricing models. Maintenance of core, cross-asset library frameworks supporting pricing model development. Development and maintenance of scalable continuous integration infrastructure to support the development of a pricing model library. Design efficient library and interface designs to optimize the interaction between the quant library and risk management system. Investigation of potential performance enhancements for risk models using the latest cutting-edge hardware. Support end users of the pricing library and communicate with desk-aligned quant teams and technology groups. Telecommuting permitted up to 20% of the week.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Financial engineering, Computer science, Mathematics, Computational physics or related field of study plus three [3] years of experience in the job offered or as Quantitative Research Analyst, or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: C++ programming including STL and boost; C++ code; CUDA programming; experience with libraries for algorithmic differentiation in C++; financial mathematics fundamentals; Python; Linux administration and scripting languages; high-performance computing techniques for optimization; fundamental computer architecture including, cache and memory hierarchies; CPU pipelining; experience with machine learning libraries, including TensorFlow and PyTorch.
Job Location: 383 Madison Avenue, New York, NY 10017. Telecommuting permitted up to 20 % of the week.
Full-Time. Salary: $205,000 - $285,000 per year.
