As a Senior Nuke Compositor, you will be responsible for integrating computer-generated imagery (CGI) and live-action footage to create seamless and visually stunning visual effects shots. You will work closely with the VFX Supervisor, CG artists, and other members of the post-production team to achieve the desired creative vision.</p> <p><strong>Skills</strong></p><ul> <li>Utilize Nuke and other industry-standard software to create high-quality composites for VFX shots in cinema projects.</li> <li>Collaborate closely with the VFX Supervisor and other team members to understand and interpret the creative vision for each shot.</li> <li>Seamlessly integrate CGI elements, green-screen footage, matte paintings, and other visual elements into live-action plates.</li> <li>Use your expertise in color grading, lighting, and camera techniques to match the style and atmosphere of the original footage.</li> <li>Maintain a keen eye for detail and ensure the overall quality and consistency of the compositing work throughout the project.</li> <li>Troubleshoot and solve technical and artistic challenges that arise during the compositing process.</li> <li>Collaborate with other departments, such as CG, Rotoscoping, and Matchmoving, to ensure smooth integration of different elements.</li> <li>Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and techniques in compositing and VFX, and proactively implement new methodologies to improve efficiency and quality.</li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Visual Effects, Animation, Computer Graphics, or related field (or equivalent experience).</li> <li>Proven experience as a Senior Nuke Compositor in the VFX industry, with a strong portfolio demonstrating your compositing skills.</li> <li>Expert-level knowledge of Nuke and proficiency in other compositing software such as Photoshop, etc.</li> <li>In-depth understanding of color spaces, 2D/3D camera tracking, color grading, and various compositing techniques.</li> <li>Solid understanding of lighting, perspective, and camera optics to create realistic integration of CG elements.</li> <li>Strong artistic and aesthetic sense, with the ability to understand and reproduce different visual styles.</li> <li>Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and independently.</li> <li>Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines in a fast-paced production environment.</li> </ul> <p><br/><strong>Desirable pluses</strong></p><ul><li>Russian/Ukrainian language is a plus.</li></ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><ul> <li>Permanently remote position</li> <li>An opportunity to hone and improve your skills by applying them to a diverse variety of engaging projects.</li> <li>Be part of an international Group with offices worldwide</li> <li>Career growth and development</li> <li>Working closely with a team of like-minded people in a fast-paced, multicultural environment</li> <li>Ongoing training and professional self-improvement opportunities</li> <li>Flexible working hours</li> <li>An inclusive culture and open communication</li> </ul>
