Global Supply Chain Management (GSCM) offers an excellent opportunity to join our energetic and collaborative environment in support of the dynamic and growth-oriented Advanced Products & Solutions Business Unit- Electrical pillar. In this role, you will foster relationships with suppliers, administer subcontracts, administer subcontracts in a fashion consistent with integrated supply chain models, recognizing the role and value of each participant through the acquisition life cycle from requirements generation through product delivery, product support, and payment for products and services.
What You will Do:
Preparation and issuance of Request for Quotations/Proposals
Perform price and cost analysis and lead formal negotiations, Price, delivery, scope, Terms & Conditions.
Place subcontracts/purchase orders and associated change orders.
Issue and conflict resolution of medium/high complexity in accordance with all regulatory (FAR/DFAR) and corporate compliance requirements for various subcontract types (Cost Types, Firm Fixed price, Time & Materials)
Work closely with the Program and other functional groups (Operations, Quality, Engineering, etc.) to achieve objectives
Nurture professional business relationships with first tier subcontractors
Provide comprehensive Supply Chain support for gate reviews.
Ability to travel as required.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required. https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62
Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS) or within other heavily regulated industries such as pharmaceutical, medical, space, aviation, power generation or automotive.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Experience procuring electrical commodities - cables, Hybrid, ASICs MMIC chips
Experience Analyzing Cost and Pricing Data and determining proposal compliance
Experience with technical requirements of procured hardware and services including Statement of Work (SOW) review
Experience placing Purchase Orders of high dollar levels and procurement complexity
Experienced in contributing to the successful completion of a project which enhanced performance within an area of responsibility
SAP based environment experience
Ability to successfully execute competitive and single source procurements including development of evaluation criteria.
