Production Team Leader

Your main responsibilities
- Team Leader will assist ALL crews as necessary
- Ensure that all crews meet established quality and productivity standards.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness within the crews and surrounding aisles.
- Communicate equipment/Quality issues to Production Supervisor.
- Provide coaching and re-enforce training of employees.
- Prioritize, plan, and communicate the daily production schedule to crews, material handlers and support crew, if necessary.
- Direct crews to rework product as needed.
- Notify Production Supervisor or Purchasing of any low stock situations.
- Immediately report any injuries or unsafe conditions to the Production Supervisor.
- Encourage teamwork, friendly competition, and positive communication between all employees.
- Complete other duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor.
- Train new employees.
- Supports the deployment of company policies, procedures, and operational changes.
- Work flexible hours with a reasonable amount of overtime.
- Operate a pallet jack for moving or stacking materials when needed.
- Utilize an RF gun to transfer parts into a usable location

A suitable background would be a solid experience within production – as well as the following qualifications and experiences:
- High school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of related manufacturing experience
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of the AS400 business system
- Ability to read schedules, work instructions, and blueprints

- Lifting requirements up to at least 50lbs.
