Our New Verticals Strategy & Operations team is re-inventing the way consumers think about grocery, convenience, alcohol and retail delivery through both our first-party and third-party operations businesses. DashMarts are our first-party offering designed to provide on-demand deliveries through a new type of convenience. Inside DashMarts we sell household essentials, groceries, brand-name favorites, local favorites and so much more! We have sites all over the country and are growing our geographic footprint, services we offer and scaling our existing sites today! 

About the Role

We're hiring a Senior Associate on our DashMart Strategy & Operations team focused on Vendor Management. You will own the strategy for emerging sourcing models and vendor relationships. You will work with cross-functional partners to identify and create opportunities to optimize our product sourcing and develop mechanisms that will ensure we meet the needs of our customers and drive best-in-class vendor performance. You will own goal development and strategies for successful supply chain performance, along with conceiving and delivering against strategic vendor plans. You will report into a Manager on the DashMart Strategy & Operations. This is a hybrid, flexible role with the ability to work at home or at any DoorDash Corporate Office.

• Work cross-functionally with our internal supply chain, sourcing development, and category management teams to improve business inputs, identify defects, and enhance our customer's shopping experience.
• Impact financial success by managing cost inputs.
• Develop programs and mechanisms to evolve our vendor relationships and customer experience.  

We’re excited about you because…

• You have 2-4+ years of experience. You've succeeded in externally-facing roles in a field such as merchandising, vendor/account management, consulting, e-commerce retail, etc..
• You’re analytical. You are comfortable navigating complex, large, and/or ambiguous data sets, and are confident using Excel, have experience with SQL, and let data guide your decisions.
• You’re an owner. You love to own and drive a strategy. You take ownership with a strong bias for action, and you always have a back-up plan.
• You love to learn, shape, and influence across a variety of stakeholders, both internal and external.
• You have a completed Bachelor’s Degree.

Compensation

The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.  Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.

In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.
