<h3>Company Description</h3><p>The OECD has earned a leading role in financial and business issues. The core mission of the Directorate for Financial and Enterprise Affairs (DAF) is to assist markets to fund inclusive economic growth, and in turn Better Lives, through setting and implementing standards, providing capacity building and technical assistance, acting as a forum for co-operation and collaboration across the OECD Directorates, external stakeholders and International Organisations. DAF's mission is pursued through five substantive divisions whose teams provide member and partner countries with policy guidance, analysis and support in the areas of competition, anti-corruption, corporate governance, financial markets, insurance and pensions, consumer finance, responsible business conduct and international investment. DAF currently employs about 250 staff members (economists, lawyers, statisticians, support staff, consultants, and trainees), who support work across a broad range of policy areas.</p><p>The Capital Markets and Financial Institutions Division (CM) is one of five divisions of DAF. The Financial Consumer Protection, Education and Inclusion Unit (FCPE) within the CM Division is responsible for the OECD’s work on financial consumer protection, financial education and financial inclusion. The work of the FCPE Unit includes:</p><ul><li>supporting relevant OECD bodies comprising OECD Members and other countries. These bodies include the Working Party on Financial Consumer Protection, Education & Inclusion and the OECD/International Network on Financial Education (OECD/INFE). The FCPE Unit also acts as a Secretariat for FinCoNet, which brings together market conduct supervisors with responsibility for financial consumer protection.</li><li>maintaining, monitoring and supporting implementation of relevant OECD standards, i.e. the <a href="https://legalinstruments.oecd.org/en/instruments/OECD-LEGAL-0394"> G20/OECD High-Level Principles on Financial Consumer Protection</a>, the <a href="https://www.oecd.org/finance/OECD-Recommendation-on-Financial-Literacy.htm">OECD Recommendation on Financial Literacy</a> and <a href="https://www.oecd.org/daf/fin/financial-education/Recommendation-FCP-Consumer_Credit.pdf">the OECD Recommendation on Consumer Protection in the field of Consumer Credit</a>.</li><li>undertaking technical assistance projects with individual countries or groups of countries to review their policies and practices in the areas of financial consumer protection, financial education, and financial literacy with a view to identifying gaps or areas for improvement and making recommendations for national policy makers.</li><li>conducting data collection and research, with a view to developing analytical reports and identification of good practices on different topics relating to financial consumers. </li></ul><p>We are looking for a dynamic Senior Policy Analyst to join the FCPE Unit to coordinate major financial consumer protection, financial education and financial inclusion projects and workstreams ensuring efficient and effective delivery. The role will include managing a number of Unit staff members. The role will report to the Head of the FCPE Unit.</p><h3>Job Description</h3><p><strong>Main Responsibilities</strong></p><p><strong>Co-ordination and management</strong></p><ul><li>Support the Head of Unit in the effective organisation and delivery of the meetings of the relevant bodies that fall under the Unit’s purview.</li><li>Support the Head of Unit to develop and deliver the Programme of Work of relevant bodies that fall under the Unit’s purview.</li><li>Coordinate major projects and workstreams relating to financial consumer protection, financial education and financial inclusion to ensure efficient and effective delivery in line with expectations.</li><li>Lead the development, implementation and reporting of technical assistance projects relating to the work of the Unit at a country or regional level.</li><li>Develop strong working relationships with OECD colleagues, senior public officials including Delegates , other international organisations, private sector representatives, civil society and other stakeholders.</li><li>Manage staff members within the Unit, and be responsible for all aspects of people management under the guidance of the Head of Unit. This includes providing guidance and direction to staff members and reviewing work to ensure quality standards are met at all times.</li><li>Identify and progress potential sources of voluntary contributions and participate in discussions with donors.</li><li>Oversee procurement activities and engagements with consultants as required.</li></ul><p><strong>Research, policy analysis and drafting</strong></p><ul><li>Coordinate and conduct research and analysis with respect to financial consumer protection, financial education and financial inclusion developments and trends that affect the relevance, impact and efficiency of p
