We are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to contribute to our next level of growth and expansion.

Job Description

In this role, you will be architecting, designing, and implementing cloud-based solutions to support BLEND360's digital transformation initiatives. You will collaborate closely with Program Managers, Application Development, and DevOps teams to ensure efficient deployment and management of cloud resources.

What you will be doing:

• Architect, design, and implement cloud-based solutions and infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for cloud architecture and systems.
• Analyze current on-premises infrastructure and develop migration strategies to the cloud.
• Design, implement, and manage highly available cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Implement cloud security best practices.
• Monitor and optimize the performance, cost, and scalability of cloud resources.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to Academy and other team members.
• Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and industry trends.

Day-to-Day Breakdown:

• 70% build cloud roadmaps/leadership activities
• 20% process management
• 10% hands-on technical work

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud engineering, with a focus on Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) security.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Kubernetes, and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with Manhattan WMS and Oracle RMS.
• Ability to serve as a Cloud Infrastructure SME.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with a Fortune 500 company.
• Knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).

Tools:

• Proficiency in scripting and programming languages, such as Python, JavaScript, and Bash.
• Familiarity with DevOps principles and tools, including CI/CD, Jenkins, and Agile methodologies.

Education:

• Professional Google Cloud Certification is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or Information Technology is required.

Additional Information

The starting pay range for this role is $110,000 - $120,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent on several factors including but not limited to relevant experience, skills, certifications, training, and location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range and determining factors for compensation are considered for each individual circumstance.
