Role Description:

 The Energy Marshal must bring extensive experience in electrical safety management and currently serves as the lead Energy Marshal on a large-scale data center project, demonstrating deep expertise in high-risk, mission-critical environments. 

Key Responsibilities


  • Commissioning Oversight: Successfully led commissioning processes, ensuring all systems were tested and validated to meet project specifications and safety standards.
  • Contractor Coordination: Directed day-to-day collaboration with vendors and general contractors to align on technical execution, schedule, and safety protocols
  • Safety Protocol Implementation: Developed and enforced enhanced safety measures, including standardized tamper seals and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) forms.
  • LOTO & Arc Flash Compliance: Conducted strict enforcement of LOTO procedures and delivered ARC flash training programs to ensure worker safety.
  • Real-Time Risk Intervention: Acted decisively in high-risk environments, including stopping unauthorized work on live equipment.
  • Technical Qualification Leadership: Applied deep technical knowledge and certifications—including Washington State Journeyman License, NFPA 70E, and OSHA 30—to uphold the highest safety standards on site.
  • Training & Communication: Prioritized clear communication through bilingual support and visual training tools to enhance understanding across diverse teams.
  • Access Control & Risk Mitigation: Implemented controlled access protocols, structured safety briefings, and a zero-tolerance approach to noncompliance.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively identified and acted on opportunities for safety and process improvement within mission-critical environments.
  • Retention Consideration: Flagged compensation concerns despite a competitive package, highlighting the importance of aligning total rewards with expertise and travel demands.
