In 2021, private equity funds managed by Blackstone acquired DESOTEC.</p><p></p><h2><strong>What will you do as a Senior Transport Planner at DESOTEC?</strong><br/></h2><p>Your daily mission:</p><ul><li><p><strong>Smooth Coordination</strong><br/>You create an efficient transport planning for our filter exchanges across Europe. You work closely with Internal and External Sales, as well as our operational sites in Belgium and abroad.<br/>You keep the overview, spot obstacles before they become problems, and think along to make things run even more smoothly.</p></li><li><p><strong>Documents? Check!</strong><br/>You ensure the correct and timely preparation of all transport-, customs-, and waste documents. You know that precision is key here and help us maintain our quality standards.</p></li><li><p><strong>Fleet in top shape:</strong><br/>You manage a trailer fleet of around 30 trailers and are responsible for their optimal use and maintenance, in close collaboration with our partners. You make sure our filters reach every corner of Europe – helping to create a cleaner planet.</p></li></ul><p></p><h2><strong>What will your team look like as a Senior Transport Planner?</strong></h2><p>As a <strong>Senior Transport Planner</strong> you’ll join a team of 6 fantastic logistics colleagues in Roeselare, reporting to the Logistics Supervisor.</p><p></p><h2><strong>Who are you as a Senior Transport Planner ?</strong></h2><ul><li><p>You preferably hold a<strong> Bachelor's degree</strong> or have equivalent experience in logistics..</p></li><li><p>You speak and write fluently in <strong>English, Dutch, and French</strong>. Knowledge of German is a plus.</p></li><li><p>You’re familiar with Microsoft Office. Experience with Navision and/or Dynamics is a strong asset.</p></li><li><p>You’re a confident <strong>communicator </strong>who easily connects with customers, colleagues, and external partners.</p></li><li><p>You work <strong>accurately</strong>, learn quickly, and love bringing structure. You’re <strong>well-organised</strong> and know how to set the right <strong>priorities</strong>.</p></li><li><p>You have a<strong> hands-on</strong> mindset and stay <strong>calm </strong>under pressure.
