JOB SUMMARY:

The RTLS Account Specialist is primarily responsible for working with Midmark RTLS field sales teammates, Channel Partners and Customers to achieve sales goals, this role requires essential knowledge of company CRM system to interact with quoting hardware, software and services, and their related documentation for field and Channel Partner sales.  While interacting with many teams within the organization, teammates will have a direct impact on buyer sales satisfaction through direct engagement.  Teammates in this role will also engage in internal processes, communication and sales related events help drive the success of the overall business.

ESSENTIAL/PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales Enablement to manage and create best practices for use of Customer Relationship Management system (CRM) and utilize to maintain key data for customer accounts.
  • Participate during tradeshows, sales trainings, channel-partner trainings, and customer visits as needed.
  • Support Sales function of customer/new customer research for expansion of products or new deployments of products and services. Provide solutions, expertise, support and work in correlation with multiple field sales representatives, including investigating and resolving customer concerns.
  • Align with Enterprise Specialist-Workflow Analytics and Regional Director teammates to support revenue and market share goals.
  • Work directly with Enterprise Specialist-Workflow Analytics, Solution Architects and other teams to ensure proper quoting, Sensory Network Layouts and Scope of Work requirements are met during pre-sale and post-sale periods.  Quoting includes Salesforce CPQ interaction and knowledge of GPO requirements and levels for customer pricing.  Ensuring customer satisfaction from start to finish is necessary.
  • Develop and grow relationships with Channel Partners and End User customers.
  • Work with Enterprise Specialists Workflow Analytics, Channel Partners, and End User Customers to collaborate on sales opportunities, including but not limited to, providing technical content, marketing content and generating quotes, become a reliable resource in all instances.
  • Support Enterprise Specialist-Workflow Analytics and RTLS Contract Manager teammates in working with customers on Support Maintenance Agreements, Business Associate Agreements, Master Agreements and other customer related documents and contracts.
  • Engage in the Change Order process to ensure proper quotes are available and Scope of Work requirements are met.
  • Generate Support Quotes in a timely manner for Channel Partners and End User customers.  Assist Enterprise Specialist Workflow Analytics in presenting.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all products and services within business unit supported and stay abreast of all new products introduced relative to division of support.
  • High level understanding of competitor products and differences between Company products and competitors
  • Participate in marketing initiatives: price book, website, and collateral review to support updates, and activities or events as needed to support sales.
  • Evaluate, price and complete Request for Proposal (RFP) and Request for Information (RFI) to generate new business. Coordinate with key stakeholders for RFP kickoff & participation. Ensure all documentation is completed in its entirety by Insides Sales Representatives or team participants to meet deadlines for execution of final summary.
  • Provide timely and accurate communication to internal/external customer requests & resolve general issues.  Be a resource for field teammates to navigate internal teams. 
  • Update reference documents pertaining to sales team and internal customer teams, ensure all documents are free of errors and all relevant and complete information is included in final output.
  • Analyze documents & requests for completeness, and update data in appropriate application

 SECONDARY DUTIES:

  • Participate in cross-functional projects, process improvement activities, initiatives and committees
  • Work with Client Relations Team to utilize, support and manage referenceable sites.  Maintain records of reference site usage and ensure gratitude shipments are sent.  Manage internal Sales SharePoint site, including access permissions, editing and content.

 EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma Required.  Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
