About the role

ROLE SUMMARY

Pfizer is seeking a Senior Manager of Integrated Insights & Strategy (IIS) that will support strategic thought partnership to US and Global brand leads of a high-value asset.  Reporting to the IIS Therapeutic Team Lead, this person will support the brand-aligned senior strategists responsible for identifying and developing opportunities in performance to unlock brand value and to advise the business on drivers of transformational change.  You will be part of the Global Commercial Analytics (GCA) organization harnessing insights from multiple sources, supporting day-to-day problem solving, team management, and business partner management.  You will leverage your deep functional analytic knowledge, exceptional intellectual curiosity, and proprietary GCA tools to every business interaction, while being an indispensable thought partner, influencing senior brand VPs and ensuring the highest quality work.

The ideal candidate is someone with a proven track record of high-value brand consultancy, responsible for framing, designing & executing solutions for challenging business situations.  They will have an in-depth knowledge of multiple analytic disciplines, with a keen understanding of output and quality/timely insight derivation.  Their team orientation and collaborative approach, along with their outstanding listening skills and ability to manage through influence, will enable their exceptional intellectual and analytical curiosity to shine.  Their sophisticated executive demeanor and comfort functioning with senior brand VPs along with their excellent storytelling and presentation skills, including strong verbal and writing capabilities, will drive their success.  As will their ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and to influence and drive change at all levels in an organization.

Commercial Brand Strategy

  • Act as strategic partner to US commercial teams to frame, investigate, and answer key business questions related to the identification and evaluation of commercial strategies, tactics and investment decisions.

  • Support developing regular patient journey-based business reviews tied to budgetary goals to ensure cross-functional teams are aware of ongoing performance opportunities and suggest ideas for optimization.

  • Connect market research and analytics together to tell a compelling and persuasive story and deliver clear and actionable recommendations.

  • Support identification of information needs and development of research and data analysis plans.

  • Define goals and metrics for key strategical and tactical initiatives, create measurement plans to measure success.

  • Ability to adapt to evolving market conditions by redefining business strategies, supporting scenario analyses for potential market events, creating readiness plans, and revisiting performance tracking, goals, and metrics.

  • Proficient in conducting in-depth data analysis to address ad-hoc business questions.

Promotional Strategy and Execution Insights

  • Develop and monitor key performance metrics to evaluate and enhance the effectiveness of a brand’s marketing campaign.

  • Recommend campaign improvement and corrective actions.

  • Evaluate campaign assets to ensure optimal customer experience steeped in deep customer insights.

  • Integrate media, campaign and ROI insights to broader analytic activities to paint the full picture of marketing execution and customer behavior and inform resource allocation decisions.

  • Play a key role in advancing the vision for the future direction of brand activities.

  • Collaborate with marketing and agency teams to assist in the creation of marketing collateral and claims using a combination of Pfizer proprietary data and public data sources.

  • Support HCP non-personal promotion segmentation and activation initiatives.

Portfolio Strategy & Analytics

  • Lead evaluation and guide portfolio data and secondary analytics acquisitions.

  • Aggregate individual vaccine analytic plans and identify areas for further collaboration and efficiency.

  • Identify opportunities to garner insights from Pfizer proprietary datasets.

  • Support ad hoc analytics for non-priority adult vaccines brands.

Collaboration with Other Analytics Teams

  • Support integrating insights across various cross-functional teams – data science, analytics engineering, market research, and media.

  • Actively contributes to the advancement of team capabilities through thought leadership; seeks to share knowledge and expertise with other colleagues making use of knowledge sharing platforms.
