Effective immediately our Corporate Language Management department is looking for an inquisitive
support for a period of up to six months
Terminology and Translation Quality Intern (m/f/d)
You will be part of an international team, based in Germany and Poland, focused on high-quality content across the company taking into account diverse linguistic and cultural perspectives.
Your Responsibilities:
- Participating in various tasks performed by our enterprise-wide translation department
- Supporting terminology team
- Terminological research
- Helping to compile the terminology database: checking and expanding on existing entries and terms (source language: English)
- Engaging in content quality projects
- Translation style guide review
- Translation quality challenges and evaluation
- Machine Translation
- Support communication with stakeholders and working in collaboration with various other departments (Marketing, Customer Services, etc.)
What Skills You Need:
- You are taking a degree course in translation or technical communication/writing
- You are preferably taking terminology courses and are familiar with translation management systems / terminology management systems
- Excellent knowledge of English
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, Excel, etc.
- You are meticulous, capable of abstract thinking, well organized, a good team player, and communicative
