About the role

Want to bring ideas to life?

You’re in the right place. If you’re looking for a fresh challenge, why choose Aurecon? It comes down to one, crucial question: what kind of world do you want to create for the next generation? The decisions being made today will shape communities, industries, and the way we all work - and who you choose to work with matters.

How will your ideas contribute to shaping what’s next?

We’re looking for a Technology Experience Specialist to join our Sydney team. This is a handson, peoplefocused role where you’ll be the face of IT support in the office - helping our people get the most out of their technology and ensuring their day runs smoothly.

This role goes beyond traditional service desk support. You’ll play a key role in shaping the onsite technology experience, supporting hybrid ways of working, and building strong relationships across the business. You’ll work closely with local and global technology teams to deliver responsive, practical solutions in a fastpaced and collaborative environment. Here are the key things you will do to ‘bring ideas to life’:

  • Provide highquality, customerfocused IT support to onsite and remote employees
  • Support laptops, mobile devices, peripherals, and collaboration tools in a hybrid working environment
  • Assist with technology setup, onboarding, and daytoday technical issues across the Sydney office and NSW/ACT region.
  • Support Microsoft Teams meetings, hybrid events, video conferencing systems, and meeting room technology
  • Manage IT assets, including tracking and maintaining laptops, phones, and other end-user equipment
  • Build strong relationships across the business, including with senior stakeholders
  • Work collaboratively with global technology teams to resolve issues and improve user experience
  • Contribute to a visible, approachable, and solutionsfocused technology presence in the office

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in IT support, service desk, or desktop support (around 1–2 years or equivalent)
  • Strong people and communication skills - you enjoy helping others and building relationships
  • A proactive, solutionsfocused mindset with the confidence to manage issues independently
  • Experience supporting Windows environments, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, InTune, Zscaler, hardware and software
  • Ability to learn new systems quickly in a complex, fastmoving environment
  • Experience working in a consulting or professional services environment (desirable)
  • IT qualifications or equivalent practical experience
  • ITIL certification is beneficial but not essential

This role is officebased, five days per week, and suits someone who enjoys being visible, engaged, and handson. There will be occasional travel required to visit our Newcastle and Canberra offices.
