Department Overview

 

We provide technology Middle and Back Office solutions for Clearing and Settlement of equity and options trades, for all international markets, supporting all global offices.

Middle Office - trade allocations, confirmations / ETC (FIX/CTM/Swift), commission and regulatory fee calculations, reference data management, accounts and SSI maintenance

Back Office - communications with depositories, clearing houses, bookkeeping agencies and settlement agents for trade settlements.,

 

 

Role Description

 

The candidate shall have extensive experience establishing Quality and Controls programs in support of technology projects of high complexity within the Financial Services domain. The candidate shall have track record of successfully delivering Quality Assurance projects, including manual, automation, and performance testing, delivering projects on-budget, and on-scope. Person shall be proven business communicator, effective collaborator and team member

 

 

Skills, Experience, Qualifications and Knowledge Required

 

• Hands on experience and Process knowledge in Agile Methodologies and QA Principles.
• Experience with Automated regression procedures.
• Extensive expertise in testing trading workflow for equities and options trading systems from order entry through back-office, Middle Office and Post Trade Processing.
• Extensive experience in both manual and automated functional testing.
• Extensive experience in developing and implementing test strategies, test plans, Test Chronology, Requirement Traceability Matrix, Test Scenarios and Test Cases based on business and functional requirements and standards and procedures.
• Strong QA background in conducting different types of QA testing including Smoke/Sanity test, Functional, Integration, Regression, Backend, Data Driven, Negative, End to End, User Acceptance Test (UAT) both manually and through use of automated tools.
• Strong background on investment products like Equity, Equity Derivatives (Option, and Futures), FX, etc.
• Documented test results and Managed Defect Tracking process, which included prioritizing bugs, assigning bugs, and verifying “bug-fixes”, using “Defect Tracking” software like Quality Center, Clear Quest, JIRA,
