In This Role
As a Senior Market Analyst – Cloud and AI Strategy, you will play a key role in shaping cloud marketing strategy through competitive intelligence, internal research analysis, and executive communications. This role involves identifying and synthesizing insights from various internal data sources, supporting leadership decision-making, and driving strategic projects related to cloud technologies. You will collaborate cross-functionally with internal research teams and help distill findings into actionable reports that influence business direction. This is a highly visible role where your output can directly impact strategic positioning in public-facing communications.
🔹 Key Responsibilities

Internal Data Intelligence

Identify, monitor, and consolidate internal reports on customer and competitive intelligence.

Maintain strong connections with internal research teams and data owners (e.g., research & insights, customer experience programs).

Establish and maintain a catalog of internal research assets relevant to cloud and AI markets.

Insight Reporting

Review and analyze internal datasets and reports to extract strategic insights.

Create clear, concise executive summaries that highlight key takeaways.

Participate in weekly team discussions and contribute meaningful input.

Strategic Research Projects

Conduct desk research to support priority strategic initiatives.

Prepare summary slides or talking points for leadership, focused on market updates and competitor positioning.

Support special projects tied to quarterly earnings analysis and public communication strategies.

Team Operations and Executive Support

Assist in maintaining rhythm-of-business (ROB) processes including meeting agendas, deliverables tracking, and offsite coordination.

Draft high-impact deliverables for executive communications.

Help ensure alignment across stakeholders for strategic messaging and priorities.

🔹 Required Qualifications
-
10+ years of overall experience in research, strategy, or marketing roles within the technology or cloud industry.

8+ years of experience in:

Cloud and AI technologies, with hands-on knowledge of at least one major cloud provider (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP).

Research and analytical work, particularly reviewing and synthesizing data from complex reports.

Producing succinct summaries or deliverables for executive or leadership audiences.

Strong communication skills—especially written—focused on clarity, brevity, and strategic framing.
