This individual will define and execute an integrated communications and thought leadership agenda—internal and external—that showcases VCA’s payments expertise, deep data insights, and client impact. Partnering closely with regional leadership and cross‑functional teams (e.g., Product, Marketing, Sales, Risk, Government Engagement, and Data Science), the role will build a cohesive narrative for VCA in LAC, develop flagship content and executive platforms, and drive consistent market visibility aligned to business priorities.

Specific Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating, developing, and implementing strategic initiatives to increase awareness of VCA’s operation in the region.

  • Lead ongoing VCA narrative and content development, including both internal and external-facing content and communications.

  • Serve as a strategist and trusted counselor to organization leaders on effective communication strategies and tactics that not only generate awareness of the teams’ work in the region but also drive employee engagement within.

  • Seek out and proactively present communication opportunities for leaders to further their goals.

  • Developing ad-hoc analysis and executive presentations, in partnership with other parts of the team such as Data Science, covering different aspects of the business.

  • Ensure that communications are delivered in a way that is timely, accurate and on brand and aligned with the company purpose, strategy, and culture.

  • Partner with colleagues across the organization, particularly corporate communications, and regional/function leads, to ensure message alignment and to generate agendas and content ideas.

  • Support team knowledge management efforts, including platform adoption, optimization, and ongoing gathering of content collection, to facilitate cross-sharing of knowledge worldwide.

  • Support internal and external event participation by writing talking points, speeches, preparing slides, and supporting storytelling efforts for leaders.

  • Embed robust analytics and measurement processes into communications strategies and analyze and share relevant metrics to stakeholders to demonstrate communications plans effectiveness and drive ongoing improvement.

  • Develop effective communication efforts and team culture projects to drive employee engagement and foster a better understanding of VCA’s business across the organization, with clients, and the media, such as white papers, reports, infographics, and more.

  • Design and create new ways of reaching employees in a hybrid, regional environment, leveraging digital assets to drive engagement, including but not limited to newsletters, announcements, memos, to name a few.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
