Who We Need

Sabel Systems is now accepting applications from Marine Corps logistics professionals interested in providing support services to the Marine Corps’ Logistics Plans and Operations Branch (LPO). The overall objective of this contract is to provide operational expertise, prepositioning strategies, and war reserve management support to the LPO branch, DC I&L, and DC PP&O. This support will span current and future operations, strategic mobility planning and GPN integration, with dedicated liaisons to MARFOR/MEFs, and also includes executive administrative support.  The primary objective of this support is to enhance the effectiveness of the Marine Corps’ prepositioning and war reserve capabilities.

Sabel Systems requires a Marine Corps Prepositioning Programs and War Reserve Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support LPO-2 (Plans).  The contractor will assist the LPO-2 Plans Section with Tailoring and Approved Acquisition Objective (AAO) integration.  The Contractor shall support both the Marine Corps Preposition Programs and the War Reserve in aligning Total Force Structure Management System (TFSMS) AAO’s and providing support to tailoring multiple new prepositioning programs, as defined in the Prepositioning Network, Force Design 2030 and MARFORPAC’s laydown in the INDOPACOM AOR.  All work will be performed at the Pentagon.  Services require occasional domestic and international travel.  This position requires a 
 

What You’ll Do

•    Serve as a SME for Prepositioning Programs AAO and equipment and sourcing SME for Marine Corps Prepositioning Programs. Services include providing program integration and analysis support primarily related to Marine Corps Prepositioning Network;
•    Coordinate with Combat Development and Integration (CD&I) Chief Information Officers (CIOs) and submit Table of Organization and Equipment Change Requests (TOECR’s) for multiple Prepositioning Sites within the Prepositioning Network and the War Reserve Program;
•    Coordinate with Marine Corps Systems Command PMs on fielding, disposal and equipment availability in support of the Prepositioning Network and the war reserve program;
•    Provide data management, data updates and create new plans to Mission Framework, Prepositioning Objective (PO) Management and Knowledge Management Explorer  modules in MCPIC in support of the Prepositioning Network;
•    Conduct multiple data exports from TFSMS, MCPIC and Global Combat Support System-Marine Corps (GCSS-MC);
•    Conduct data analysis and provide summary reports of alignment actions required.   
•    Review, create and provide draft DoN ETMS2 and AMHS Messages, as directed and approved by the government;
•    Update and manage LPO-2 SharePoint information as required by the government;
•    Coordinate conferences, meetings and key events for both the War Reserve and Prepositioning Programs;
•    Provide SME expertise to and administrative support as required to help develop briefs, conduct policy reviews, and support reporting requirements; 
•    Travel may be required (~10-20%); and
•    All other duties as assigned.
