Position Summary

Nestlé Coffee Partners (NCP) is on a mission to elevate how our consumers experience coffee. The Lead Supply planning is responsible for building production plans respecting agreed level of available capacity to ensure that finished goods are available with high freshness, at the right stock location to meet customer demand while minimizing cost and balancing expected stock cover. Serves as a main point of contact for Starbucks supply chain execution team to collaborate on issue resolution, strategy execution, process creation and continuous improvement. Integrates with Supply Chain Excellence teams, Demand Planning teams, Customer Facing teams and Starbucks to deliver 98.5% service for Nestle Starbucks Coffee (NCP) Customers. 


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Strategy & Planning 
  • Create a feasible production plan that respects capacity defined to best balance expected stock covers and availabilities of finished and semi-finished goods.
  • Establishes an 18-month production plan for the factories within their scope of responsibility.
  • Establishes Committed Capacity, including timing proposals for plant shutdowns, investments.
  • Identification of possible opportunities for the factory within the coming 18-month horizon.
  • Identification of possible risks for the factory and/or product supply within the coming 18-month horizon.
  • Give advance information on labor requirements through Committed Capacity.
  • Develops processes to drive consistency in buy plan process, with expectations of continuous improvement.
  • Own system setup accuracy for responsible items, DC's to ensure system operates correctly.
  • Develop customer specific inventory strategies in collaboration with customer facing supply chain to deliver best in class service.
  • Face of the supply planning function to the business relative to service and fill rate.
  • Support NCP Supply Chain Integration of the NCP and NUSA supply chain.
  • Support NCP Supply Chain Director for integration with NCP and Starbucks Supply Chain through participation in tactical inventory reviews.
  • Support NCP Supply Chain establishing of best practices and foundational processes.
  • Oversees KPIs/SLAs aligned with Starbucks to ensure targets are being met.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Undergraduate Degree required.
  • 7+ years of relevant operational experience at market/business level is useful, in at least one of the following areas required:
  • Factory Scheduling, Supply Network Planning, Procurement, Supply Chain Development, Factory Production Team Leader
  • Experience in the following processes would be highly beneficial: Product lifecycle process and/or Manufacturing
