OnsiteThe Test Equipment Engineering (TEE) includes all of the engineering disciplines responsible for systems design & test with all Raytheon products. Our engineers are responsible for all elements of the development lifecycle for test including: test requirements, test system design, flight simulations, hardware-in-the-loop, computer-in-the-loop, advanced engineering prototyping technology, flight operations for manned and unmanned vehicles, environmental testing, environmental characterization and engineering laboratory management. We are hands-on, designing with the latest technology and tools, and integrate state of the art test solutions with the most advanced engineering systems in the world.
As part of the Test Environment Support Administration (TESA) team, you be working with both leading-edge technologies and legacy systems to support multiple products and programs throughout Raytheon. You will provide Test Equipment (TE) integration, security consultation, troubleshooting, sustainment, and compliance with the ultimate responsibility to maintain test integrity and the availability for our test systems.

This position is 100% On-Site in San Diego, CA
What You Will Do:
You will be responsible for processes and procedure development, contracting estimates, data management, and project management supporting the Test Environment Support Administration (TESA) team. Duties will also include assisting with educating TESA customers in the use of available products and system documentation updates.
Focus on tactical and operational plans with short- to medium-term focus (e.g., less than 1 year to 1 - 2 years).
Problems faced may be difficult to moderately complex.
Represent TEE as the west coast region point of contact for TE classified information systems and the Test Equipment Network to maintain test integrity.
As a part of this role, you will collaborate with multi-discipline teams in the operation, testing, and troubleshooting of systems. You will interact with Program Managers, Chief Engineers, CPT/Directorate Leads, as well as other functional management to drive results to achieve program and business unit objectives. You will support TEE hiring goals as well as lead the onboarding of new TESA personnel.
Developing Cybersecurity compliant TE (Linux, IOS, Windows)
Troubleshoot production and development TE to ensure connectivity, functionality, compliance, and test integrity.
Collaborate with Digital Technologies to integrate TE to controlled networks or enterprises.
Collaborate with Cybersecurity to ensure TE compliance (using tools such as Nessus, Splunk, Ivanti, and locally procured software)
Collaborate with engineering to ensure changes do not affect the availability or test integrity on the TE
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and ten (10) years’ prior relevant experience OR an Advanced STEM degree and 7 years' prior relevant experience.
Experience with Windows operating systems in desktop and server environments.
Typically requires two (2) years’ experience managing Test Equipment on a DoD compliant information system.
Current DoD 8570.01m IAT II certified credentials (Sec+, CISM, etc.) or higher.
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Master of Science degree in STEM.
DoD 8570.01m IAT II certified credentials (Sec+, CISM, CySA+, etc.)
Experience working in a DoD Special Access Programs environment.
